How your order arrives
Every material is supplied as a freeze-dried powder in a sealed vial, dispatched from cold storage. A dry, sealed vial is more stable and travels better than a liquid would.
Storing on receipt
As a general guide for laboratory storage of freeze-dried peptides, materials are best kept:
- Cold — at around −20 °C for longer-term storage.
- Dry — desiccated, in the sealed vial, away from moisture.
- Out of the light — protected from direct light.
Keeping conditions steady is the main thing. Store the vial as supplied until it is needed for research, and follow any specific storage conditions stated for your own laboratory and materials.
Batch reference
Each vial carries a unique batch reference, printed on the vial and recorded against your order, so a material can always be traced back to its batch.
A note on responsibility
These are research materials for laboratory use only. Purchasers are responsible for storing and handling them safely and in accordance with the regulations that apply to them.
